RESOLVED under section 4 of the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance that the Royal Nepalese Liaison Officer shall be exempted from the payment of the duties prescribed under the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance in connection with alcoholic liquors and tobacco as if he were a consular officer within the meaning of the Consular Relations Ordinance (Cap 259) subject to the following conditions- (a) this exemption shall be personal to the incumbent of the post of the Royal Nepalese Liaison Officer in Hong Kong; (b) this exemption shall cease immediately in the event of any material change in the duties presently performed by the Royal Nepalese Liaison Officer in Hong Kong.
