TELECOMMUNICATIONS REGULATIONS - REGULATION 3

Examination for the issue of certificates of competency, and tests

(1) The Authority may, upon payment by the person to be examined of the
appropriate fee prescribed in column 3 of Part I or II of Schedule 2, conduct
in respect of that person-

   (a)  any of the examinations specified in column 2 of Part I of Schedule 2
        and, if he is satisfied as to the competency of the person examined,
        issue to him the appropriate certificate of competency; and

   (b)  any of the tests specified in column 2 of Part II of Schedule 2. (L.N.

(2) The Authority may, upon payment of the appropriate fee prescribed in
column 3 of Part III of Schedule 2, issue to any person whom he considers
suitably qualified a certificate of competency in radiocommunications. (L.N.

(3) Every certificate of competency shall be in such form as the Authority
may, from time to time, determine.

(4) The person to whom a certificate of competency is issued shall make a
declaration of secrecy in such form as the Authority may, from time to time,
determine.
