CHURCH OF ENGLAND TRUST (CHURCH COUNCILS) REGULATIONS - REGULATION 13

Erection of monuments

A church council may, if so authorized by the trustees in the letter of
delegation, and in accordance with any regulations laid down by the Bishop,
permit the erection or order the removal of any monument, tablet or other
memorial in the church or in the precincts thereof, but no such monument,
tablet or other memorial shall be erected or removed without the previous
written consent of the Bishop.
