WIDOWS AND ORPHANS PENSION ORDINANCE - SECT 29

Pension not to be assigned or levied upon

(1) No pension payable under this Ordinance shall be assigned or transferred,
and every assignment or transfer thereof shall be absolutely null and void and
of no effect.

(2) No such pension shall be attached, or levied upon, or arrested, or taken
in execution on account of any debt or payment due by the person to whom such
pension is payable: Provided that any contribution or other sum due under this
Ordinance from a deceased officer may be deducted from any pension payable
under this Ordinance to or on behalf of the widow or children of such officer.
