Meaning of "use for trade"

PART III

WEIGHING OR MEASURING EQUIPMENT USED FOR TRADE

For the purposes of this Ordinance, the expression "use for trade"
(作商業用 途), in relation to any weighing or measuring equipment, means
its use in connection with a transaction for-

   (a)  determining the weight or measure of goods supplied by weight or
        measure;

   (b)  computing the payment of any toll or duty on the basis of weight or
        measure; or

   (c)  determining the weight or measure of any goods when a charge is made
        for such determination. (Enacted 1987)
