Power of Director to suspend permits

Suspension of permits

(1) The Director may suspend a permit for such period as he considers
appropriate if—

   (a)  the permit holder contravenes any provision of this Ordinance;

   (b)  the permit holder contravenes any condition of the permit; or

   (c)  the suspension appears to the Director to be necessary for the
        protection of public health or the environment.

(2) If the Director decides to suspend a permit, he shall, by notice in
writing served on the permit holder, inform the permit holder of his decision
and the reasons for his decision.
