TSING SHA CONTROL AREA ORDINANCE - SECT 17

Making false statements and omitting material particulars

(1) A person who makes a false statement in giving any information or
particulars required under section 13, 14 or 16 commits an offence and is
liable on conviction to a fine at level 2 and to imprisonment for 6 months.

(2) In any proceedings for an offence under subsection (1), it is a defence
for the person charged to prove that he did not know and had no reason to
believe the statement to be false.

(3) A person who omits any material particular in giving any information or
particulars required under section 13, 14 or 16 commits an offence and is
liable on conviction to a fine at level 2 and to imprisonment for 6 months.

(4) In any proceedings for an offence under subsection (3), it is a defence
for the person charged to prove that he did not know, and could not with
reasonable diligence have ascertained, the material particular required.
