(2) The amendments effected by section 3 of Schedule 6 apply in relation to
the year of assessment in which that section comes into operation and to all
subsequent years of assessment.

(3) In subsection (2), “year of assessment” (課稅年度) has the meaning
assigned to it in section 2(1) of the Inland Revenue Ordinance ( Cap 112).
