CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY COUNCIL ORDINANCE - SECT 55

Objections to levy or surcharge

(1) A person who is notified under section 33 or 41 may object to the levy or
surcharge.

(2) The objection shall be made by a notice in writing (“notice of
objection”).

(3) A notice of objection must be served on the Council within 21 days after
the contractor receives the notice of assessment or the notice of surcharge
(as the case may be).

(4) A notice of objection shall state the grounds of objection and shall be
accompanied by all written statements and other documentary evidence relied on
by the objector.
