PROTECTION OF ENDANGERED SPECIES OF ANIMALS AND PLANTS ORDINANCE - SECT 10

Higher penalties for offences relating to specimens of Appendix I species committed for commercial purposes

If a person has been convicted of an offence under section 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 and
the court is satisfied that the act (including possession or control of a
specimen) in respect of which the person has been so convicted was carried out
(whether by him or on his behalf) for commercial purposes, that person,
instead of being liable to the penalty prescribed in those sections, is liable
to a fine of $5000000 and to imprisonment for 2 years.
