LAND TITLES ORDINANCE - SECT 14

Applications for registration

(1) Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Ordinance, no matter shall
be registered in the Title Register unless the matter is the subject of an
application presented to the Registrar for the registration of that matter,
and this requirement applies—

   (a)  whether or not any express reference is made in this Ordinance to that
        matter; or

   (b)  if an express reference is made in this Ordinance to the registration
        of that matter, whether or not that reference is accompanied by an
        express reference to such an application.

(2) Each application for the registration of any matter shall be verified in
such manner as is required by the regulations.
