DEPOSIT PROTECTION SCHEME ORDINANCE - SECT 17

Financial year and estimates

(1) The Board may, with the prior approval of the Financial Secretary, fix a
period to be the financial year of the Fund.

(2) As soon as practicable after the commencement of this section, the Board
shall submit to the Financial Secretary, for his approval, estimates of the
income and expenditure of the Fund for the first financial year of the Fund.

(3) In each financial year of the Fund, before a date to be fixed by the
Financial Secretary, the Board shall submit to the Financial Secretary, for
his approval, estimates of the income and expenditure of the Fund for the next
financial year of the Fund.
