VILLAGE REPRESENTATIVE ELECTION ORDINANCE - SECT 11

When a vacancy occurs in office of village representative

(1) A vacancy occurs in the office of village representative for a Village if
a person elected as the Village Representative-

   (a)  is taken to have resigned under section 8(3);

   (b)  is disqualified under section 9 from holding office;

   (c)  resigns in accordance with section 10; or

   (d)  dies.

(2) A vacancy also occurs in the office of village representative for a
Village by virtue of section 50(1).
