SECURITIES AND FUTURES ORDINANCE - SECT 46

Supplementary provisions as to default proceedings

(1) A court may, on an application by a relevant office-holder, make such
order as it considers appropriate altering or releasing him from compliance
with the functions of his office that are affected by the fact that
default proceedings are pending or could be taken, or have been or could have
been taken.

(2) The functions of the relevant office-holder referred to in subsection (1)
shall be construed subject to an order made under that subsection.

(3) Section 12, 14 or 20 to 20K of the Bankruptcy Ordinance ( Cap 6) and
sections 166, 181, 183, 186 and 254 of the Companies Ordinance ( Cap  32) do
not prevent or interfere with any default proceedings.
