CHIEF EXECUTIVE ELECTION ORDINANCE - SECT 15

Nomination period

(1) The nomination period for candidature at an election and the time at which
the nomination period terminates shall be fixed by the Chief 
Electoral Officer.

(2) The nomination period-

   (a)  shall not be less than 14 days; and

   (b)  shall terminate on a day earlier than the 21 days before the
        polling date.

(3) The time at which the nomination period terminates shall for the purposes
of this Ordinance be regarded as the close of nominations.
