ENTERTAINMENT SPECIAL EFFECTS ORDINANCE - SECT 21

Permits required for conveyance of pyrotechnic special effects materials

Conveyance Permit

(1) Subject to this Ordinance and unless otherwise exempted by regulations, no
person shall convey or cause to be conveyed by land or water within Hong Kong
any pyrotechnic special effects materials without a conveyance permit.

(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is
liable-

   (a)  on a first conviction to a fine at level 6 and to imprisonment for 6
        months; and

   (b)  on a second or subsequent conviction to a fine of $200000 and to
        imprisonment for 12 months.
