ENTERTAINMENT SPECIAL EFFECTS ORDINANCE - SECT 10

Restriction on discharge of special effects materials

PART IV

DISCHARGE OF SPECIAL EFFECTS MATERIALS

(1) Notwithstanding section 5 and subject to section 13, no person shall-

   (a)  discharge; or

   (b)  cause or permit to be discharged, any special effects materials except
        under and in accordance with a discharge permit.

(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is
liable-

   (a)  on a first conviction to a fine at level 6 and to imprisonment for 6
        months; and

   (b)  on a second or subsequent conviction to a fine of $200000 and to
        imprisonment for 12 months.
