TRADE MARKS ORDINANCE - SECT 39

Filing date

(1) The filing date of an application for registration of a trade  mark is the
date on which documents containing everything required by section 38(2)(a) to
(d) (application for registration) are filed with the Registrar.

(2) If the documents are filed on different dates, the filing date is the last
of those dates.

(3) References in this Ordinance to the date of application for registration
of a trade mark shall be construed as references to the filing date of the
application for registration.
