MASS TRANSIT RAILWAY ORDINANCE - SECT 52J

Evidence: books and documents

(1) In relation to any matter concerning any right or liability under a
contract vested in the Corporation under section 52B, 52D, 52E or 52F(1),
books and other documents which would, before the relevant date, have been
evidence in respect of that matter for or against KCRC are admissible in
evidence in respect of the same matter for or against the Corporation.

(2) In relation to any matter concerning any right or liability under a
contract vested in KCRC under section 52C or 52F(3), books and other documents
which would, before the relevant date, have been evidence in respect of that
matter for or against the Corporation are admissible in evidence in respect of
the same matter for or against KCRC.

(3) In this section, "documents" (文件) has the same meaning as in
section 46 of the Evidence Ordinance ( Cap 8). (Part IXA added 11 of 2007 s.

"documents" (文件)
