HOUSING MANAGERS REGISTRATION ORDINANCE - SECT 8

Powers of the Board

(1) The Board may-

(a) establish committees to advise the Board on the carrying out of the powers
and duties of the Board;

   (b)  employ persons to assist with the carrying out of its functions under
        this Ordinance;

   (c)  from time to time engage such professional advisers as it may consider
        necessary or expedient;

   (d)  set and publish for general information the fees payable to it under
        or by virtue of this Ordinance;

   (e)  issue and publish for general information a code of professional
        conduct or practice for registered professional housing  managers;

   (f)  set and publish for general information the principles for and scales
        of reimbursement of reasonable expenses incurred by persons attending
        to the business of the Board.

(2) The Board may make rules which provide for any further thing required
under or by virtue of this Ordinance.
