Proceedings for contempt

(1) Proceedings for contempt under section 35(3) shall be brought in the Court
of First Instance on application by the Secretary for Justice. (Amended L.N.
362 of 1997)

(2) The Chief Justice may make rules providing for the procedure in
proceedings for contempt under subsection (1) and in the absence of such rules
the Court of First Instance may apply such rules of procedure as it thinks
fit. (Amended 92 of 1975 s. 59) (Amended 25 of 1998 s. 2)
