CHINESE MEDICINE ORDINANCE - SECT 9

Disqualification

(Past version on 06/08/1999).

Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing provisions, a person-

   (a)  against whom an order under section 98 has at any time been made;

   (b)  who is-

        (i)    undergoing a sentence of imprisonment;

        (ii)   an undischarged bankrupt;

        (iii)  not ordinarily resident in Hong Kong; or

   (c)  whom the Chief Executive considers unfit for appointment, shall not be
        eligible for appointment or reappointment, as the case may be, as a
        member of the Council.
