CHINESE MEDICINE ORDINANCE - SECT 5

Terms of appointment of members

(1) Subject to subsection (3) and section 7, a member of the Council appointed
under section 4(b) shall hold office for such period not exceeding 3 years as
may be specified in the letter of his appointment.

(2) A member may, upon the expiry of his term of office, be reappointed.

(3) A member appointed under section 4(b) or reappointed under subsection (2)
may, at any time before the expiry of his term of office, resign his office by
giving notice in writing-

   (a)  in the case of a member other than the Chairman, to the Chairman;

   (b)  in the case of the Chairman, to the Chief Executive.
