CHINESE MEDICINE ORDINANCE - SECT 29

Chinese Medicines Committee

The Chinese Medicines Committee shall consist of the following members-

   (a)  1 public officer who shall be appointed by the Director;

   (b)  the Government Chemist or his representative; and

   (c)  the following persons, each of whom shall be nominated by the
        Medicines Board and appointed by the Council-

        (i)    a chairman who shall be a member of the Medicines Board;

        (ii)   2 persons from the trade of Chinese medicines;

        (iii)  1 Chinese medicine practitioner; and

        (iv)   1 person from an educational or scientific research institution
               in Hong Kong.
