CHINESE MEDICINE ORDINANCE - SECT 19

Temporary members

(1) If a member of a board is, because of illness or any other reasons, unable
to perform his duties and exercise his powers as such member for any period,
the Secretary may appoint another person suitably qualified for appointment to
such membership to be a temporary member in place of the member during that
period.

(2) While any person is acting as a temporary member of a board, he shall be
capable of performing all the duties and of executing all the powers of the
member whom he is temporarily replacing.
