purposes of this Ordinance subject to such conditions, if any, as the Director
thinks fit and specified in the authorization.

(1A) In considering the conditions (if any) to be imposed under subsection

but not limited to the experience and the competency of the person in carrying
out the work of a surveyor for the purposes of this Ordinance. (Added 24 of
2005 s. 4)

(2) Where the Director refuses to authorize a person as a surveyor for the
purposes of this Ordinance, or authorizes a person as a surveyor for the
purposes of this Ordinance subject to conditions, he shall serve a notice in
writing on the person setting out the reasons for the refusal or conditions,
as the case may be.

(3) Where the Director is satisfied that an authorized surveyor has
contravened any of the conditions of his authorization, he may serve a notice
in writing on the surveyor revoking the authorization and setting out the
reasons for the revocation.

authorize a person as a surveyor for the purposes of this Ordinance subject to
the condition that he is such a surveyor only in relation to a local vessel of
which he is the owner.

(6) (Repealed 24 of 2005 s. 4)
