DISTRICT COUNCILS ORDINANCE - SECT 67

Chairman or other person presiding to have a casting vote

(1) Subject to subsection (2), at a meeting of a District Council, the
Chairman, or other member presiding under section 66(2) or (3) is to have an
original vote and a casting vote if the votes are equal.

(2) A member presiding at a meeting for the purpose of electing a Chairman or
Vice Chairman does not have a casting vote.
