DISTRICT COUNCILS ORDINANCE - SECT 13
Appointed members to accept office
An appointment under section 11 or 16 does not take effect unless the person
appointed swears acceptance of office in Form 1 set out in Schedule 4 and
lodges the form of acceptance with the Designated Officer within the period
specified for the purpose in the letter of appointment.
