This Ordinance may be cited as the Road Traffic (Validation of Collection 
of Fees) Ordinance.

In this Ordinance, the expressions "car testing centre" (車輛測試中心), 
"certificate of roadworthiness" (車輛宜於道路上使用證明書) and "proprietor" (東主) have 
the meanings assigned to them in section 88A of the Road Traffic Ordinance 
(Cap 374).

Validation of collection of fees payable for supply of form of certificate of roadworthiness VerDate:13/03/1998



Notwithstanding the resolution made and passed by the Legislative Council 
on 2 November 1995, and published in the Gazette as Legal Notice No. 513 
of 1995, the fee specified in columns 2 and 3 of the Schedule paid by any 
proprietor of a car testing centre under section 88C(3)(b)(ii) of the Road 
Traffic Ordinance (Cap 374) for the supply of a form of a certificate of 
roadworthiness in respect of a private car or light goods vehicle during 
the periods specified in column 1 of that Schedule, is deemed to have been 
the fee payable for the purposes of that section for those periods.
