LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL ORDINANCE - SECT 42

Withdrawal of candidate's nomination

(1) A candidate may withdraw the candidate's nomination for election at any
time before the close of nominations for the election and not otherwise.

(2) The withdrawal of a candidate's nomination has effect only if it is in
writing signed by the candidate and complies with regulations in force under
the Electoral Affairs Commission Ordinance ( Cap 541) for the purposes of this
section.
