NON-LOCAL HIGHER AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (REGULATION) ORDINANCE - SECT 17

Designated person to send notice as required

(1) A designated person of a registered course who fails to comply with a
requirement under section 13(2)(a), 14(2)(a) or 16(3)(b) commits an offence
and is liable on conviction to a fine at level 3.

(2) It shall be a defence for a designated person charged with an offence
under this section to prove that he took all reasonable steps and exercised
all due diligence to prevent the commission of the offence. (Enacted 1996)
