MANDATORY PROVIDENT FUND SCHEMES ORDINANCE - SECT 19A

Power of Authority to require production of records

(1) The Authority may, for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the
provisions of this Ordinance but for no other purpose, by notice in writing
served on an employer, a self-employed person or any other person, require him
to produce for inspection within such period as may be specified in the notice
any record that is required to be kept under this Ordinance or is otherwise in
his possession or under his control.

(2) The Authority may make copies of all or any part of the records produced
by a person pursuant to a notice served under subsection (1). (Added 1 of 2008
