SEX DISCRIMINATION ORDINANCE - SECT 65

For the saving and transitional provisions relating to the amendments made by
the Resolution of the Legislative Council (L.N. 130 of 2007), see paragraph
(12) of that Resolution.

(1) The Commission may undertake or assist (financially or otherwise) the
undertaking by other persons of any research, and any educational activities,
which appear to the Commission necessary or expedient for the performance of
its functions.

(2) The Commission may impose reasonable charges for educational or other
facilities or services made available by it.

(3) The Commission shall not provide any financial assistance under subsection
(1) except with the prior approval of the Secretary for Constitutional and
Mainland Affairs given, after consulting with the Secretary for Financial
Services and the Treasury, generally or in any particular case. (Amended L.N.
