Transitional provision relating to watchman's permit

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a holder of a watchman's permit, within the
meaning of section 2(1) of the Ordinance repealed under section  32 , shall be
deemed for the purposes of this Ordinance to be a holder of a  permit that is
valid for an unlimited period of time.

(2) The Authority may by notice given to the holder of a watchman's permit
cancel that permit at the end of a period of 3 months after the date of that
notice.

(3) For the purpose of subsection (2), a notice shall be deemed to be given to
a person if it is sent by prepaid post to his last known postal address.
