Transfer of certificate of exemption

(1) Except as provided in this section a certificate of exemption shall not be
transferable.

(2) The Authority may, upon application made to him in such form and manner as
he may determine, and on being satisfied as to the proposed operation,
keeping, management or other control of the bedspace apartment by the person
to whom the transfer is to be made or by another on his behalf, permit the
transfer to such person of the certificate of exemption in respect of the
bedspace apartment until its expiration, and shall endorse a note of such
transfer on the certificate of exemption. (Enacted 1994)
