THE HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION ORDINANCE - SECT 15

Auditors

(1) The Council shall appoint auditors, who shall be entitled at any time to
have access to all books of accounts, vouchers and other financial records of
the Institute and to require such explanations thereof and such other
information as they think fit.

(2) The auditors shall, as soon as is practicable, audit the statements
prepared under section 14(2) and shall report thereon to the Council in
sufficient time for the Council to take the action required by section 16.
