THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL COMMISSION ORDINANCE - SECT 20

Protection of members

(1) No member acting in good faith shall be personally liable for any act done
or default made by or on behalf of the Commission in the performance or
purported performance of the functions, or the exercise or purported exercise
of the powers imposed or conferred on the Commission under this Ordinance or
any other enactment.

(2) The protection conferred under subsection (1) on members in respect of any
act or default shall not in any way affect the liability of the Commission for
that act or default. (Enacted 1994)
