THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL COMMISSION ORDINANCE - SECT 17

Commission subject to Council's direction only

(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Commission shall not, in relation to the
formulation and execution of managerial and financial policies of it or the
Secretariat, be subject to any direction or control of any person.

(2) The Council may by resolution give directions of a general or specific
character to the Commission in relation to the performance of its functions or
the exercise of its powers and the Commission shall comply with those
directions. (Enacted 1994)
