OCCUPATIONAL RETIREMENT SCHEMES ORDINANCE - SECT 75

Immunity

(1) No personal liability shall be incurred by any person appointed under
section 36(2) or public officer in respect of any act done, or omitted to be
done, by him in good faith in the performance or purported performance of any
function under this Ordinance.

(2) The protection conferred on public officers by subsection (1) in respect
of any act or omission shall not in any way affect any liability of the Crown
in tort for that act or omission.

(3) A person who-

   (a)  complies with a requirement under this Ordinance; or

   (b)  responds in good faith to an inquiry so made by the Registrar, shall
        not incur any liability to any person solely by reason of that
        compliance or response. (Enacted 1992)
