MERCHANT SHIPPING (SAFETY) ORDINANCE - SECT 60
Production of certificate to Director
Subject to any exemption conferred by or under this Part, before a ship to
which section 57 applies proceeds to sea from Hong Kong on an
international voyage, the master of the ship shall produce a valid
Convention certificate to the Director; and a clearance shall not be granted,
and the ship may be detained, until such a certificate is so produced.
