DISTRICT COURT ORDINANCE - SECT 29

Rescuing goods

(Past version on 30/06/1997).

Any person who rescues or attempts to rescue any goods seized in execution
under process of the Court or seized under a distress for rent shall be guilty
of an offence and shall be liable-

   (a)  on summary conviction to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 12
        months; or (Replaced 28 of 2000 s. 18)

   (b)  on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for 2 years. (Replaced 28
