LIFTS AND ESCALATORS (SAFETY) ORDINANCE - SECT 15

Owner may appeal against refusal of Director

(1) Where, under section 12(3)(b) and section 13(3)(b), respectively, the
Director refuses to permit a lift or escalator to be used or operated or
refuses to permit the use or operation of a lift or escalator to be resumed,
the owner of the lift or escalator may appeal against such refusal to an
appeal board.

(2) Notice of any such appeal shall be given to the Director within one month
of the date of notification to the owner such refusal. (Amended 43 of 1987 s.
