COMPANIES ORDINANCE - SECT 34

Execution of deeds abroad

(1) A company may, by writing under its common seal, empower any person,
either generally or in respect of any specified matters, as its attorney, to
execute deeds on its behalf in any place not situate in Hong  Kong. (Amended 1
of 1949 s. 6; 6 of 1984 s. 259)

(2) A deed signed by such an attorney on behalf of the company and under his
seal shall bind the company and have the same effect as if it were under its
common seal. [cf. 1929 c. 23 s. 31 U.K.]
