TRAVEL AGENTS ORDINANCE - SECT 7

Advisory Committee on Travel Agents

(1) There shall be an Advisory Committee on Travel Agents.

(2) The Advisory Committee shall consist of-

   (a)  a Chairman who shall be appointed by the Chief Executive;

   (b)  the Registrar (who shall be an ex officio member and Secretary
        thereof); and

   (c)  such other persons as the Chief Executive may appoint.

(3) The Chief Executive shall give notice of any appointment under subsection
(2) by notice in the Gazette.

(4) A person appointed by the Chief Executive to be a member of the
Advisory Committee-

   (a)  shall hold office for such period as the Chief Executive may
        determine;

   (b)  may resign at any time by notice in writing addressed to the
        Secretary; and

   (c)  may be removed from office by the Chief Executive if the Chief
        Executive is satisfied that such member is incapacitated by physical
        or mental illness or is otherwise unable or unfit to discharge the
        function of a member of the Advisory Committee. (Amended 66 of 2000 s.
