VOLUNTEER AND NAVAL VOLUNTEER PENSIONS ORDINANCE - SECT 12

Comforts allowance

Where a qualified person is entitled under this Ordinance, whether by virtue
of the application of section 7 or of section 9(ii), to the payment of-

   (a)  any grant payable by way of pension under section 7 in connection with
        a disablement which is due to more than one injury and the degree of
        which is 100%; and

   (b)  any grant payable by way of constant attendance allowance under
        section 10, there shall, apart from any other grant payable under this
        Part, be payable by way of comforts allowance a grant at such rate not
        exceeding that set out in column 2 of Schedule 5 in respect of such
        allowance as may from time to time be determined by the Board having
        regard to all the circumstances of the case. (Added 56 of 1997 s. 5)
