BIRTHS AND DEATHS REGISTRATION ORDINANCE - SECT 12B

Re-registration after declaration of parentage or legitimacy

Where-

   (a)  the registrar receives notification issued pursuant to section  6 of
        the Parent and Child Ordinance ( Cap 429) of the making of a
        declaration of-

        (i)    parentage; or

        (ii)   legitimacy, in respect of a person whose birth has previously
               been registered; and

   (b)  it appears to him that the birth of that person should be
        re-registered, he shall authorize the re-registration of that person's
