apply in relation to the year of assessment 2004/05 and to all subsequent
years of assessment. (Please see 12 of 2004 s. 2(5)(a))

2. The amendment made by 12 of 2004 to item 17 of this schedule applies in
relation to the year of assessment in which section 5(1)(e) of the Legal
Practitioners (Amendment) Ordinance 1998 (27 of 1998) comes into operation and
to all subsequent years of assessment. (Please see 12 of 2004 s. 2(5)(b))
