INTERPRETATION AND GENERAL CLAUSES ORDINANCE - SECT 48
Power to appoint chairman
Where any Ordinance confers power upon any person to appoint any persons to be
members of any board, tribunal, commission, committee or similar body, the
person so appointing may appoint a chairman, a deputy chairman, a
vice-chairman and a secretary of such board, tribunal, commission, committee
or similar body.
